Alejandro Maytorena is a director of photography from Guadalajara, Mexico, currently based in Los Angeles.

With over seven years of experience, his work has always focused on creating emotional imagery that drives the story. He specializes in both fiction and documentary films.

His work has received awards at international festivals such as the Experimental Film Festival, Surf City Festival, Santa Cruz Film Festival, and Toronto Beaches Film Festival.

In addition to cinematography, he is also a still photographer, and one of his photographs won the FFIEL Award in 2020.
